Local-Only Conversion
Secure HEIC converts HEIC/HEIF photos directly in your browser. Your images are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers as part of the conversion workflow.
What We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not require you to provide personal information to use the converter. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically receive basic request information (for example: IP address, user agent, and timestamps) to operate and secure the service.
Cookies, Ads, and Third Parties
Optional Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics. The Google advertising publisher tag loads independently to support Google's certified privacy message and, when approved, advertising. The analytics banner does not grant advertising consent. Photo contents and filenames are not included in our analytics events. Google may process technical request information for its privacy controls and advertising under its own policies. Local photo processing does not mean that the website makes no network requests.
Your Choices
Reopen Analytics choices to allow or decline analytics. Use Advertising privacy choices when Google's control is available to revisit advertising consent. Changing analytics preferences does not erase previously collected data. Browser settings and content blockers provide further controls. Conversion remains available when optional analytics is declined.
Files in Browser Memory
Selected images and generated previews exist temporarily in the active browser session so the converter can display and download them. Clear the queue or close the tab when finished, especially on a shared computer. Downloaded files are stored wherever your browser normally saves files and are outside this site's control.
