All decoding runs in your browser with no uploads, no account, and no cloud queue.
At most three files are processed at once. Large images can still exceed your browser's available memory.
Export to JPG, PNG, WebP, or combine scans into one multi-page PDF.
WebP can reduce delivery size for portfolios, product galleries, and content pages while retaining good visual quality in modern browsers.
WebP is well suited to modern websites, product galleries, and portfolios where download weight matters. Keep the HEIC original outside the site's asset folder and publish a descriptive, appropriately sized WebP copy.
Conversion alone does not resize an image for its layout. Avoid serving a full camera-resolution photo in a small card when your publishing system can create responsive sizes.
Modern browsers display WebP, but an older editor, email tool, content-management plugin, or print vendor may still reject it. Test upload, preview, optimization, and delivery before migrating an entire library.
When a workflow fails downstream, JPG is usually the compatibility fallback; PNG is more appropriate when lossless editing is the priority.
Each completed preview now reports dimensions, input/output bytes and measured conversion time. Download the local conversion report to compare files without sending the report to this site. PDF timing covers image preparation, not final document assembly. Use the conversion verification checklist for metadata, quality and browser limitations.
If you want to stop creating HEIC files going forward, iPhone has a camera setting for that. Open Settings > Camera > Formats, then select Most Compatible to save new photos as JPG. If you already have a library of HEIC images, converting them to JPG or PNG is the fastest way to make them usable in older desktop apps, email attachments, and upload forms.
